1. Do sticker books
Stickers stick. To everything! And that’s exactly why they’re so perfect for the plane – there are no little bits to lose or drop repeatedly. Usborne does a great range of holiday sticker books.
2. Coloring books
If you’ve got young littles, or teens pack something like Usborne coloring books. And if you’ve got toddlers and you’re worried about them getting ink everywhere, have a look at our Wipe-Clean collection. They come with a easy erase marker and they’re specially designed to work on the pages of the book. Neat.
3. Activity books
Usborne’s collection of activity books for kids are packed with hours of fun at low prices.
Usborne does a great range of books where every page is packed with interactive things to do, so it’ll be a decent amount of time before anyone says they’re bored. Try the Academy series for kids aged 8 and up, Things to Spot for kids aged five and up, make paper airplanes, and the Drawing books.
4. Read a book
Go old-school and pack an actual book book. Young adult novels like Star of Deltora or Shine-a-Light On the Plane, for example.
5. Write a book
What better time to get started on that novel? For older kids, take a look at Usborne’s Write Your Own Story Book series or the Travel Journal to get them started.
