I recommend a lot of books during the course of a year! At the end of the year I am fascinated to see which recommended books parents actually decide to buy for their kids.
I always encourage parents to visit their local library. It’s the most cost-effective way to read a wide variety of books to your kids. However, I am still a big advocate of owning books if you can afford it. If you can’t afford it, then you should partner with me and host a book party–get some books free. Hosting a few times a year will give your kids $200 worth in free books.
Children who grow up with books in the home have higher rates of literacy. Growing up in a house full of books… gives kids an advantage to literacy. If you’d like to help put more books into the hands of disadvantaged children, you can partner with me and host a book benefit one. Together we can donate books to a charity or a school or a friend or family member.
Now click on link and join the party. www.facebook.com/events/296338604641371/ Buy you’re ticket by buying $25 worth in books.
And then share with your friends and invite them to the party.
See ya later alligator!
